Ina Garten is well-known American cookery book author and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina began her career by working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy reports. Although she initially found the position fascinating and intellectually stimulating however, she began to get bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. Prior to selling the company the store, she worked for an entire 18 years transforming it into a highly successful store. There were many more cookbooks and magazine columns that were added. Her Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. The company sells numerous products, from ingredients for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself who has never been to a cooking class, nor employed in the kitchen. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining and her straightforward cooking style are well known. Her most famous recipes are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
