Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam and has Chinese ancestry, while her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with strong roots within The American South. Olivia's parents separated at the age of 2. She grew up with her mother, who served as a pilot in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan, even although the family moved often. In that period, she took part in numerous performances of the local theater, and eventually became a Japanese fashion model. Olivia returned her home to Los Angeles after the family's relocation in this part of the United States. She pursued her ambition of becoming an actor.
